Editing Services

I offer copy and line editing services to fiction and nonfiction authors for $0.005 per word (half a cent per word). I have a degree in English from Purdue University, ten years of experience as a public school English teacher, and over twenty years of writing and editing experience. I can take your prose and polish it without overwriting your natural style. This is not developmental editing, this is for authors who are close to the end of the process and need a final polish for correctness, clarity, and flow. 

I do not use AI editing tools for this work. Every edit is done by a real human—me.

I offer a free 5,000-word sample edit to begin the process. If we agree to work together, I ask for 50% payment up front, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery of the edited manuscript. If needed, we can split this into smaller payments.

I prefer to run financial transactions through PayPal, but if that’s impossible, we can make other arrangements.

Cover Design

I use Adobe Stock and licensed generative tools to create assets, which I then combine into a cohesive whole in Photoshop to create custom covers. Each cover represents hours of focused design work.

I have a degree in digital art and graphic design and can create covers for any genre or audience. I deliver completed JPG/PDF files, and can also provide the layered PSD file for an additional licensing fee. Copyright of the final cover design remains with the client.

    I request a 20% deposit when we start, with the remaining 80% payable upon delivery of the final files. I offer free revisions for 30 days after delivery of the final concept. I prefer to run financial transactions through PayPal, but if that’s impossible, we can make other arrangements.
